I recently had an online initial physiotherapy assessment with Theresa Bell for a shoulder problem.
I was a little unsure beforehand how beneficial this would be, having previously attended physiotherapy at Bodyworks in person. However. as the session is conducted via video, Theresa was able to analyse and identify the cause of the problem by talking me through and observing me perform a range of movements. As the session is interactive I could also ask questions and get advice in the same way as a face to face session.
The appointment was easy to set up and access – I was sent a link (no need to install an app or anything else) – and the prescribed exercises. with video clips, were emailed to me shortly afterwards. I’d definitely recommend giving it a go and will be returning for a follow up online session in a few weeks time.
I have been taking the bi-weekly floor mat class since the beginning of Covid and can truly say that it has been the saving of me. Apart from providing a series of exercises which really suit my ability and back/balance problems, it has given me a twice weekly Pilates framework + the additional motivation to walk and use my exercise bike on the other days.
I find Theresa’s approach, pace and personality ideal for me and am really grateful for the flexibility of accessing the course whilst enjoying the illusion of a personal session! Thank you so much.
